I have been exclusively in small animal practice since qualifying from the University of Bristol over 15 years ago. During my time in practice I have increasingly felt frustrated by the inability to provide a bespoke service to my patients. The existing veterinary practice model comprising a busy waiting room of pets only afforded 10 to 15 minute appointments simply doesn’t make sense anymore. Hence, Leyla Veterinary Home Visits was born.

In this day and age with so many of us working from home I sought to provide an at home service for many of the more routine procedures not requiring hospital facilities. From the comfort of your home I can perform a full physical examination, dispense appropriate medication, carry out vaccinations, claw clips and even collect blood samples. In addition, should further more intensive treatment be required I can refer your pet to a veterinary practice of your preference. Why bundle your pet into a car or wait in a busy waiting room for just 10-15 minutes of a vet’s time when for an affordable price I can come directly to your home at a convenient time minimising stress for both you and your pet.
